Hot n Juicy - 1:41 AM
I got my hair cut and colored today. That, my dears, is my elixir of life. Nothing a good haircut and dye job won't fix!Then I went to the mall, where Steve Madden himself made an appearance at the local Nordstrom Shoe Department. I had the urge to throw one of his shoes at him and demand an explanation to why he, despite being a trained shoe "designer" and apparently charging like one, is incapable of producing an affordable, comfortable shoe with proper arch support (3 in 1 please). But of course I didn't. I just won't buy his shoes anymore I guess, until something affordable, comfortable, and with proper arch support comes along.
And I also went to a Crawfish eatery called Hot n Juicy Crawfish. With a name like that, one would expect to find waitresses with names like Candy, serving something Hot n Juicy that may not turn out to be Crawfish (this is after all Vegas, you don't know what you will find), but guess what? It was actually legit, and they did serve some Hot n Juicy crawfish, Louisiana style. All 4 pounds of it between 2 of us. But I have to say that out of the 2 hot bags of shellfish, only about 0.8 pounds of it was actual flesh. Some would say its not worth the trouble deshelling all that for so little flesh, but it was so much fun! We wore bibs and all, but wooh, I believe this garlic breath will be around for the next 2 days.
And so now I'm back home, hugging a half of a watermelon, digging into it like any respecting watermelon eater - with a spoon. I don't usually care for watermelon, the last time i've eaten is possibly 2 years ago, but its the summer, and the heat does weird things to people. So there. Have a good week ahead!
