The Red Cliff - 3:13 AM

Since my visa haven't yet been approved, I am now unemployed (till it gets approved) unless I am considering a profession serving tables in Chinatown. Anyway, since I don't have to rise at 7am on Monday, I am contentedly watching DVDs on Sunday night. The epic film, The Red Cliff, to be precise.

I should know something about the Three Kingdom story, but I don't. Alright, that's next on my list then. All Chinese people should know the story, and I am ashamed to say I don't.

But anyway, only 15 minutes into the movie and about 5000 people have died. I don't quite get the plot, except that Tony Leung and Takeshi Kaneshiro are in it. (and SO not looking forward to Lin Chi-ling's performance though)

But!! This Zhou Yun dude and this Guan yu dude ARE amazing warriors. And I am busy wiki-pediaing these warlords who lived tens of thousands of years before. And OOOHhh, CHANG CHEN is in the movie too!

On another note, I thought they say Takeshi's acting improved? Hmm, alright I shan't judge so soon. So where can I read the story of the Three Kingdoms?
