Sigh.

Did I tell you I found out on Friday night that Lihong was not just performing, he was also going to be SIGNING AUTOGRAPHS on his latest CD after the concert? Did I also tell you how I burst into my room at 1:30am on Friday and announced this piece of amazingly miraculous news to my sisters who were just about to drift off to lalaland. Man, I tell you... I couldn't stop laughing because I was so happy. And then I realized I haven't felt so happy in such a long time.

Lihong knows that there are many Asians studying/working/living in the U.S., and are unable to spend Chinese New Year back home with their families, so he has decided to spend it with us instead (he probably is going home the next day to celebrate it with his family too). Totally wanted to faint.

Now THAT'S a memorable New Year...buying his CD, standing about 10cm away from him, shook his hand (warm, firm, non sweaty), and greeted 'Happy New Year' by Lihong. And I am still dreaming about him.
