Thanksgiving Fun - 12:28 AM
So, since my last post, I have successfully done a few things... such as, hmmm I don't know, slashing my left hand with a bagel knife. God, that's just stupid. The stitches will hopefully be removed tomorrow, and then it will take more time to heal completely. I'll have to worry about the scarring, but for now its good. I have pictures but won't post them for the sake of you keeping your dinner down.Yanru and her family visited last week, and I spent some time with them enjoying stories about her family. And then on Thursday which was Thanksgiving, I kind of invited myself to my colleague's house and spent time with her family. She even asked me to stay the night and to go straight to work from there instead of having to come home late at night. As usual, we ate a lot, and her kids dragged out the tree and decorated it with the 1 million ornaments they have. I swear there's not an unadorned branch on that tree. Then I spent the rest of the night watching Shrek 3 with her kids while my colleague was being a mom and cleaning up our mess haha. It was some good ol' fashion fun. It's not D.C., its not the old gang, but had a great time nontheless.
Meanwhile, its a 3 week countdown to NYC! wooooooooooooooooooooooooohooo!!! Can't believe I've been working for a good 6 months now. Gosh I need a break.
