Ahhh, life is beautiful,.... - 1:00 AM
When you are nesting on your couch with remote control in hand. Ahhh, what can I say... bliss, just bliss. So after a couple weeks of couch hunting, I found something perfect last Saturday. Apparently, perfection is something big, green, inexpensive, and comes with 2 matching cushions.It was my 2nd trip to Colleens Consignment store, a furniture place that sells new or gently-used furniture. Heard tons of good things of this store, so I decided to try it out. First time, I did see a few nightstands, but no couch. And I needed a couch cos my butt was getting flatter and flatter as the days of sitting on the floor went past.
Last weekend, I decided to go again cos Colleens has new stuff almost every day. And this time, I struck gold. Not once, but twice. I actually managed to find 2 couches that I could potentially buy! One was a very nice beige sleeper sofa (exactly what I was looking for), clean lines, perfect... The price was really good too. And so I told the guy I wanted to buy that.
Then I walked around the store for awhile, and found another one! This was a soothing green, the seating was deeper than the sleeper sofa, was not a sleeper sofa, but cushions were softer. PLUS it was $100 cheaper. And so, I changed my mind. My guests can sleep on the floor, WHATEVER! Haha, this will be the one I'm bringing home!
So here you have it. The big green thing is in my living room and I'm enjoying every second I get to nua on it. Its perfect for lounging and watching TV. Plus, its long enough for me to sleep on it. WOOHOO!
The pedestal table you see next to it will actually go into the bedroom. I'll be posting pics of my bedroom soon, so be on the lookout for that!
My coffee table is terribly undersized for the couch. Funny, the couch looked much smaller in the store than in my living room. Oh well, more for me to nua on!!
K so you can't really see the color. I'll take pics of it in the daytime, promise.
