My First Gig - 11:12 AM

So I think I landed a brilliant first gig. My first job... is going to be awesome. My company, IS awesome. Or rather, thats how I choose to think.


Anyhow, I attended Orientation on Thursday. I don't think I spotted bunny girls, but there were about 40 others. Ciao! and Pronto! are the two team member cafeterias in the resorts - the Venetian and the Palazzo. Oh my, what a nice upgrade from the other places I've worked at! Selection is endless, and they can cook things fresh for you on the grill. Whatever you want! Chicken quesadillas? Philly Cheese Steak? Coming right up!


The best part of Orientation were definitely FREE TICKETS TO SEE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA AND BLUE MAN GROUP!!! We get vouchers to 2 tickets each, and I went to the box office right after Orientation ended. They give you best seats they can find on the house, and thats what I got! People.. I'll be sitting first row of the Orchestra section next Friday with Ruoyi when she visits next week.


So my first day at work was kind of overwhelming. You know, like how you feel when you begin a new project like knitting or attend a new computer systems class. But I'm confident I'll be able to adapt real soon, get along with people well, and catch on real fast.


After all, its my first gig, and I would KILL myself if I messed up.
