...testing out my new fabulous pumps!I think I may have found the only line of heels (so far) that I am able to wear without my feet crying for mercy!
You see, I was in that sort of generous, wispy mood yesterday and paid my friend Saks 5th Avenue a visit. I've never really gone in 'for fun', cos it always seems like entering a museum. Can see cannot buy.
By chance I happened to be in the shoe department, and it so happens that the shoes are on further sale, and more coincidentally there was this pair of shoes in my size that I kinda took a second look at. And then, I bought them.
What awesome shoes are these? They are from Cole Haan's Air Nike line. Yes you heard it right, Nike Air technology's been incorporated into heels, praise the genius!!! There is a thicker piece of foam/pad thats inserted where the ball of your foot will lie, similar to running shoes, where the ball of feet always bears the brunt when you run.
Then at night, I came home, turned on the TV, and Oprah was on. Oprah was complaining about how throughout the years, how she always had to remove her shoes through mid-taping cos she the pain in her feet were so unbearable. Then she introduced this line of Cole Haan Air Nike shoes, which she tried throughout the show and offered updates on the condition of her feet.
Ok, that totally sealed in my decision to NOT return the shoes. In fact, I'm going out in a few to see whether they have it in other colors! Oh and I suspect my feet have grown yet again. Geez, when is this ridiculousness coming to an end? They can't just keep growing nonstop you know. *sigh*
Oh and by the way, I've bought a ticket home for the CNY holidays. See you all in a couple of weeks!
