Even if it means spending 12 hours on a bus from Delhi to Agra to go see it… not even if it means spending 12 hours on a bus while nursing a terrible cold to go see it… not even if it means walking in 40 degrees heat and absolute humidity, hustling with 10,000 other people to go see it...This better be good.
The Taj Mahal was constructed as a mausoleum by the Mughal Emperor for his favorite wife when she died after giving birth to their 14th child (HE SHOULD BUILD IT LOR! 14 KIDS!!), and he was laid to rest next to her when he passed. And while we were there, they actually opened the basement where their tombs were for public viewing. We nearly died of suffocation cos there was no ventilation and we were stuck in there with so many other people. I only did it because we basically traveled all the way there for this, and thus...I have to see it, I NEED TO SEE IT!
Just imagine how much he must have loved her to do this for her
