Sicko - 10:13 PM
I'm starting to feel the pain of America's healthcare system. In Singapore, if you had to get a malaria shot, you go to some family doctor and he just injects you within 10 seconds and you're out the door in no time.
Here?
You have to first make sure your health insurance covers you, then research online to see who are their preferred providers, then see which is the one closest to you, make a phone call for a reservation, go get the jab, then lastly, PRAY that they won't charge you cos you are 'supposedly covered' by your plan.
But I do need that malaria jab just in case.
Darn.
