Dearest Shiyun,

If only people knew, they would be surprised to learn that we have only became closer since the last 3 years. And out of those 3 years, I've been abroad most of the time! If anything else, we appreciate each other more we get to meet or chat, and each of those meetings become a reason for celebration.

And today, on your birthday - the 21st of June, I invite you to indulge in life's blessings. Though we often feel like we're in a perpetual rut, I know it will only get better, and you have to believe me... After all, with the scenary beautiful, and flowers sweet smelling...life is not about the getting THERE, but the experiences throughout the journey. And though I wasn't around when you went through PSLE, TAF Club, or even Canoeing in NJC, I promise I will be there for your future milestones.
