Week 2 in Atlanta was considerably uneventful (in a VERYYYYY good way, if you know what I mean), compared to week 1. I'm getting really comfortable to the work place...You know how jittery you can get when you are going to a new place? Well, I can say so far so good. And I haven't met weird people THOUGH I did see the police escorting a handcuffed man at the station, hopefully to JAIL or somewhere.


At work, I attended the Westin Orientation on Wednesday. Its not the customary here's where you eat, here's where you shit kinda orientation. Its more like an insight to the company benefits, sexual harrassment at the work place, tour of the entire property (Presidential suite and all!). Basically, its a great deal cos they pay you to sit and listen for a whole day! Its not that boring too. On Thursday, a few of us went to a few of our competitors to check their place out. Before you think we're spies, no we're not! It can be arranged thru their sales office, and its customary for sales people to check out their competition once in awhile (after a renovation, after an introduction of a new product etc). So we headed to the Sheraton, Hilton, Hyatt Regency, and Omni. No wonder my feet are so super sore. Next week, we'll be going to 2 Marriotts, the Ritz-Carlton (not that they're our competition cos DUH, they're the Ritz. But its just nice to go and look-see).


Lets hope my feet dont pull a fast one on me.


So my routine of waking up at 6.45am has kind of settled. I sleep very early though. Its good right? This sleep early wake early pattern.


I need new clothes for work. I don't wanna wear shirts to work anymore. Its kinda gross when its hot and I hate feeling gross. Alright, so I might be sending my computer in for repair (the monitor remember) the coming week, so dont fret if you dont see me.


Other good news is that my Pistons have advanced to the Conference Finals!!! Hurray!!! I remember thinking they have no shot at all at the Finals cos they were in pretty bad shape and basically had to elbow their way thru to get there. But they're looking way better this time round, so lets go detroit!!
