Countdown to the Auction - 6:23 PM
Now that Auction is exactly 2 weeks away, things are gonna get crazy again. But I must say I think things are under control...well, kind of! Compared to last year, I think we won't be as last minute kan jiong spiders. Oh, I realized I haven't let you all know what classes I'm taking this sem huh? Here goes!
- Hospitality Finance. OH gawd its only the third week and I can't do the homework already! Plus its at 8am on Mondays and Wednesdays. HELP ME PLEASE.
- Hospitality Law. Since the Professor is an attorney, I sincerely hope that he gets more cases and therefore needs to go to court, thus resulting in cancelling class. WOOPIE!
- Hospitality Meeting and Event Planning. Ok, this class ought to be fun. Its not bad for now. My group is in charge of planning the annual Hospitality Graduate Student Forum in April. SO since its in April... hur hur we'll just do everything at a later date.
- Hospitality Beverages. Ok, WHAT? haha.. I admit I took this class only because I need an elective and I don't want to attend class from 4-7pm on Mondays, and threfore this was the only choice. I think everyone will enjoy this class cos all you do is wine tasting. We taste about 3-4 kinds each class (twice a week), and listen to a short lecture about it of cos... But as you can imagine, what lecture? We're all kinda drunk. I took this class in the hope of cultivating some appreciation for wine in me. I don't know whether its working though. -_-
Back to the Auction, I really hope it goes well!! And anyway, companies will be coming for interviews very soon! CRAP, TIME TO PREPARE!!
You all probably won't be seeing much of me online in the next two weeks, until Auction ends, and thats Feb 10th. I really REALLY want to bid on something cool and fun, such as the Hard ROck Chicago Hotel package, or the Ritz Carlton Palm Beach package, BUT finances dictates my life so no such luck! Sometimes, when we are there till late, we'll fantasize about seizing ALL the packages and running away with them. Hey, they are about $120,000 worth of hotel stays.. and then we'll go on a road trip. PRETTY SWEET!
but Nah, we're too honest for that. So all we can do is to watch people take home the packages that have been in our care for the past year. sigh.
