The Empress' new clothes - 5:44 PM
Usually, packing is a pain in the butt. Even for holidays, especially when you need to pack in toiletries as well. And my toiletries, as some of you may know, might as well take up their own trolley suitcase. And then my shoes... I don't have many pairs, but my shoes are much bigger than other pple's, so they take up alot of precious space. @$(!@^$*!@$^ my feet.BUT!!!!!! Packing to go home is a different affair altogether. Remember the Zara stash I've been collecting since the great sale in the summer??? I FINALLY HAVE SOMEWHERE TO WEAR THEM TO!!!!!!!
So I pulled out my suitcase today with the intention of packing, but as I unzipped it, I remembered. OH, I've left all the stuff I'm not gonna wear in Michigan in the suitcase, and so it is already rather full. SO I started taking all the things I wanna pack out onto my bed... and umm... made a mess outta it.

As you can see from the mash of clothes, I am someone who tries to wear color... A few years ago, when I don't like shopping yet, I restricted myself to very limited shades like white, black, and red. But then I thought about it and decided that HEY, I'M YOUNG. I SHOULD WEAR COLOR to brighten myself up!! And so I did. Luckily I have a skintone that takes color pretty well. So, its very hard for me to announce a certain color as my favorite. I'm always at a loss whenever personality tests ask me which is my fav. color. Plus I kinda know what they will associate with each color. Red with passion, blue with melancholy, green with serenity, brown with earthiness. blah blah blah...I'd say I would wear every color except certain earth tones, most pink tones (i tried, but very cmi), and needless to say, oranges and pukish greens. OH, no whites for now too.. cos its just too unflattering. sigh. I'm starting to like jewel tones alot. Rich purples, teal, brilliant green.... i likeeee.
But don't worry la, I'm not bringing everything back. Just the new clothes. I can picture Shiyun going mad as she noses thru my suitcase... And throwing everything out... And exclaiming 'WAH I LIKE WHY U NEVER BUY FOR ME?!?!'. And then my very zen mother will turn un-zen, and go 'aiyoh so much clothes.......where's mine, where's mine?????' And then, when I wear my stuff out, will demand them to say that its very beautiful. And then she will go 'aiyohhh hen mei la hen mei la, hen xiang ming xing'. wahahaha.
Ok, I shall attempt to study a little bit. OMG SO EXCITING!!
