Who Let the Dogs Inn? - 4:48 PM
Who Let the Dogs Inn?Lemme tell you about a paper I'm currently working on. Its for my hospitality facilites, maintenance, and design class. We're supposed to choose our own topic regarding the facilities, maintenance, or design of a hospitality establishment. Well, duh. Thats wad we're supposed to be learning in class.
So you may choose to do cost-savings program for a hotel, how to upgrade a restaurant's kitchen, improving telecommunications in a countryclub, or something. I chose to do make your hotel a pet-friendly one. Here's hardly a secret: I know pets like I know american football. Know about them, can't deal with them. I'll watch them on TV, but I won't play with them. r
So with the help of Kelly, the resident dog lover (mocha and mini are cute la k?), I start to write my paper. And we can decide for ourselves what kind of a establishment we are, where it is located, etc.
I've decided to be a beach resort... not luxury, cos I can't deal with them at the moment, but a four-star full serviced property...something like a Westin or a Sheraton. Now, where to have my property located, that was a bigger problem. I like San Francisco, but I don't think I would want my beach resort there... so I decided to cross over 47 states, to Florida. Now, where in Florida? With the help of my friend the RitzCarlton, I just chose a place where they had a hotel at. I mean, come on.. following the Ritz Carlton around is a GREAT idea! So I decided on Biscayne Bay, Miami... and then I realised its not that a dog-friendly place. And so I travelled 2000 miles westward again, to San Diego, and have finally decided to make that my home.
I need to give my company a name. Something that sounds liek its been around for some time. How neh? Gimme some ideas leh...I also need to think of the pet prgram. Starwood names theirs' LTD (love the dog), I'm gonna call mine i-hate-animals-but-i'll-take-urs-if-you're-orlando-bloom. nice?
