Home On the Horizon - 5:04 PM
I was off work today and yesterday, cos I'm working tmr and sunday. : (But aiyah, since they are seriously shorthanded and its not as if I have any plans, I'll go. Creates a better impression mah.. I will need them to serve as references for me. hur hur.
Anyway, sleeping till noon and watching TV isn't all I've been doing for the past 2 days... I did laundry too! Haha, apart from that, I've been thinking...
What about, you ask? Going home for the year end break, I say. Huh, home? Isn't it a long time away, you ask. Not at all, I say. You sure not, you're going home in Dec and its only July now, you said. Well, I went home last Dec and it is ALREADY July, I answered.

I've been reading blogs and people always post pictures of familiar places. Awww, I know those places!!! But somehow, its kinda sad. Hanxiang (my cousin) asked me for dinner recommendations yesterday, but all I could think of was..... NYDC, Fish n Co, Ding Tai Feng, Crystal Jade? Eee, I'm so ashamed that I only recommended Ding Tai Feng. How come the eateries that come to me are those are so passe? 5 years ago I would go to those restaurants, 3 years ago too... and now? STILL THE SAME AH? And the last time I checked, there are so many new variations of Crystal Jade... it used to be just Kitchen, and the restaurant one. Then now there are the Shanghai one, Korean one, this one, that one... frigging confusing. And Fish n Co? Oh man... I heard there are lotsa different new places offering seafood too.
Aiyah, I decided that I always go to foodcourts to eat hokkien mee/ban mian/carrot cake, thats why I don't know about the new eating places. Furthermore, I don't have sophisticated taste palettes, so I rather spend the money on cab fare and other random stuff than food. GIMME MY HOKKIEN MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.... Shiyun is very adventurous with her food. Or rather, she doesn't say no to anything except duck. So my, by FARRRRR boring choices are always urging her on to hoot me. hahahaha
Anyway, lemme things to do when I'm home... Apart from the usual beauty regime of hair, nails, and eyebrows, apart from the usual local food tours, what else, what else....
I KNOW! I WANAN GO TO JB TO EAT SEAFOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (and hopefully my former hsbc colleagues will manage to book a chalet then too) =)
I have been having urges to go to HongKong these days, I dunno why.. but alas the dec holz will be too short for me to squeeze in a short trip, so I guess crystal jade will have to do lor. OH, oh and since I will be home for the Christmas, and New Yrs holidays, we can play alot of mahjong and sing alot of ktv. WOOPIEEEEEEEE.
Oh, I have also been thinking about OUTFITS to wear when I'm home. WAHHAHAHHAHHAHA yes ok you can laugh at me. I think I'm extremely kua zhang too! I wanna look like I just walked out of The Devil Wears Prada leh.... hmmm...
