World Cup is Here! - 1:38 PM

OH, So I see... Germany leading Costa Rica at the half. The score reads: 2-1...
After 10 minutes into the 2nd half, I got bored. After all, I'm someone who is accustomed to watching the NBA a.k.a, the fast and the furious. But ahhh... I do miss this game, I really do.
Ruoxi always wonders in amazement how I can identify which player is which even though they are like ants on the field/court (soccer and basketball).... No hor, where got look the same ah.. You see the one in the red headband and face mask is Rip... the one with the afro but sometimes he braids it la, also wearing red headband is Ben... the one also with headband but is rather botak and has a bald patch is Rasheed PLUS he's much taller... the one wearing the high white socks is Evans, and the ones with the exceedingly long arms that reminds me of an orang utan's is Prince.... That hard meh?
After awhile, I found myself urging them on...' SCORE LEH, SCORE!!!' And so they did, Germany, that is.. And then the Costa Rican team retaliated and scored too, and NOW, AS I AM TYPING THIS, THIS LONG HAIRED GUY JUST SHOT THE BALL INTO THE BACK OF THE NET!! Germany's lead is back to 4-2.
OK, very good very good Germany.. and now, can someone... ANYONE, bring on the Italiano boys? Justina's favorite is Ballack from Germany... hmmm CUTE! Beckham dun need to say, he is after all, the Man of the Men (according to Kelly. whahahah)...but the ENTIRE Italian team?... just let me melt into a puddle, just let me.... Sigh, OK... I OFFICIALLY MISS THIS GAME!!!!!! As athletic and heart thumping NBA games are, there's no Beckham lookalike or whoever leh. OK... No wonder soccer games are so much longer than basketball games (90 mins vs 48 mins), they're so much better to look at!!
So now, the great question: What do I prefer?
Pork Knuckles or Foie Gras? Paella or Tempura? Kimchi or Spaghetti? What about Swedish meatballs, Brazilian BBQ or even *shudder*, English kidney pies?
Maybe food is too difficult cos I'll choose a plate of steaming HOKKIEN MEE that costs only $4 at most ANYTIME, compared to the higher end cuisine mentioned above... Ok lets try again... What do I prefer?
Hugo Boss or Louis Vuitton? Zara or Shu Umera? Samsung or Prada? What about Donna Karen, Burberry, or even, ummm... Havianas?
I was watching this Korean drama and they said something about there being 3 things in this world that doesn't require language to serve as a communication tool, namely: Art, Music, and Food... maybe they should add another one: SOCCER.
Not bad, not bad... but I still can't make up my mind leh.... But I'm a jinx anyway... Maybe I shouldn't outright support any team lest they get suay-fied and lose. :(
OH, I LOVE those Adidas WorldCup ads, where they bring out all the stars together and feature them together in one 30sec commercial. Isn't it great to be rich?
