Buying Bras - 10:02 PM
Hello, hello... I don't have anything interesting to blog about, so I shall update you on recent wallet blowing transactions.Its time for the VICTORIA SECRETS SEMI-ANNUAL SALE!!!! I've been waiting high and low for this one, cos I've been reduced to having 2 wearable bras. YAH, 2 BRAS. I understand the fundamental equation that we only have a pair of breasts and they only require 1 bra to hold them up at each time. But, ONLY 2 LEHHHH.... Since the nude colored one is rather rutty and jiao jiao, I lost one last Thanksgiving, and the pink one is nowhere to be found, I realised I had to do something about it. And so I went out and bought 3. But now I have a problem.... I have 3 blue bras. Do I want 3 blue bras? Do I want one in another color instead? Yeah for sure... Ok! I'll go hunt down for one in another color and trade it for the blue one.. or not. HA! How many bras do you have?
And I've decided that from tomorrow onwards, I'm just gonna bring mebbe $5 and my metrocard to work. Its super tempting to meander through the streets of Manhattan, bypassing an alarming number of shops that line the streets ALLLLLL the way from the Murray Hill neighborhood (where I work) to Midtown West (where I live). Every journey home SHOULD, by right, take only half an hour... okok, 40 minutes if I sashay. BUTTTT!!!!!!! Its been taking me like 1 hr, 1.5hrs, 2hrs even to get home... thanks to the shops that lure me in with their fancy displays, brazen SALE signs, and inviting AIRCONDITIONING.
Did I mention aircon? AND DO I THINK THAT AIRCONDITIONING IS THE SINGLE MOST USEFUL INVENTION! Its been so hotttttt recently, and boy, its just gonna get worst. The New York subways are a terrible excuse for.... for....god knows what, and when you step inside, you are immediately greeted by this gust of hot air, and I feel like I'm a xiao long bao sitting in a steamer. Working in the basement of a hotel doesn't help things either. Whew.
OK, time to shower. Its monday again. Week 3. 7 weeks to go.
