Of beautiful sights - 6:18 PM
I've never been a fan of the tropics. You know, the sun, sand, and sea. I think one reason why is cos I don't have the body figure for the beach. You know, sporty and all. No can do. Don't try to tell me its fine cos most pple's figures aren't even near-perfect yada yada...IT DOES MATTER TO ME OK. And so, I've been deprived of that kinda exploration for the longest time. I also don't like intense exposure to the sun because I turn absolutely red like a lobster, get sun burnt on my shoulders, and then return to my normal skin color within the next 24hours or so. And then I'd have to deal with the bad hair and accidental scratches/injuries that might had been inflicted upon me as I attempt to snorkel.Last summer, Ruoyi, Chloe, Dawn, Amanda and I went to Redang Island for a spot of sun and fun. It was pretty fun I must say, minus the gut-nerving 10hr bus ride and super nauseating boat ride. But they always say we have to travel out of the way to see the most beautiful things. Because if they were within easy reach, we wouldn't appreciate it as much.

Quite true, quite true. Like how we took a 11hr round trip bus ride from Vegas to Arizona to see the Grand Canyon. Breathtaking...Thats why I was opposed to the idea of Disneyland on Sentosa Island or in HK. Imagine living at Harbor Front. DisneyLand is literally across the road from you. How thankful will you be? Not much, for sure. Plus, you will complain incessantly about the traffic and the throng of tourists that will make your journey home from sch/work so bloody hard. OH, sorry for I have digressed.... Back to the sun and fun....
the majestia of it all...I have one more week till Spring Break. Ready or not, I am so going to Puerto Rico!! 16 of us will be heading over to San Juan for a much deserved (ok i admit i don't really deserve it larh cos i haven't been working hard. at all) 6 day trip. WOOHOOOOOO. You know, I haven't seen much of the sun for almost 8 weeks since I've been back from S'pore. I NEED some Vitamin D!!! This dull weather is really zapping some of the zest out of me. There is still no hint of leaves on the trees and the pavements are still caked with snow. ENOUGH HOR! While it is extremely exciting cos its the first ever time I'm going on vacation with people from the HB School, I'm also a lil worried cos I don't know how they're gonna go crazy at night. haha. But OH SCREW IT, I'm going to Puerto Rico!!!!! :D
