The Magician - 3:40 PM
I have always resisted a trip to the Doctor's office if I can help it, cos they don't seem to be very nice people. I mean, harlow they are in charge of letting pple know the bad news like 90% of the time. Like, 'Its breast cancer'....or 'We have done our best but we couldn't save the mother'.......or the Korean soap worthy 'We discovered a tumor in your brain and you only have 3 months to live'....And believe me, bad news I don't need.Anyway, I've been having the flu on-off for like nearly a month. Nyquil doesn't seem to work anymore...but I'm not too concerned about it cos the weather has pretty much been bad since, FOREVER... everyone gets it once in awhile. BUTTTTT....when an astronomical headache hit me last Friday night, I knew I had to take that dreaded trip if it doesn't go away. And it didn't. DAMN it.
Ok, good news is that he didn't give me bad news. He said 'probably not a sinus infection, not a migraine...not a tumor'. THANK GOD, I'm too young & beautiful to die! (but just in case, I've prepared my farewell speech. well, sort of.) But, he didn't tell me what it is! Just prescribed stronger pills for me to take and hope for the best. Mann....it better work, I tell you. Thanks for your well wishes, but please pray harder. I AM GOING ON A VACATION NEXT WEEK, I can't possibly go in agony!!
We had a treat during our Jazz class today. This guy who sits in the front row...super knowledgable about the topics, usually helps the Prof out whenever he forgets certain things, also happens to be a professional MAGICIAN! And so my Prof, being that boy trapped in a grown man's tummy, I mean body, had prearranged with him to show us a few tricks since he was too lazy, I MEAN, had nothing much to teach before our test on Thursday. WOOHOOO how cool's that?! Like, amazing. He's pretty good at his tricks, but his one-liners that were distracting us were pretty good too.
So that was how I spent my Tuesday. How did you spend yours?
