Now, now... we all know people with weird names, don't we? Maybe not that weird in Singapore, but since I've been here... I've become accustomed to reading weird names, most of them Black names.


But THIS must take the cake. I mean, I seriously have no idea how to pronounce this. I bet none of you will have a clue too. Don't believe me?


I received an email from a potential Auction volunteer today. I swear she has the most original name EVER. Her name : Xochitl


OK HARLOW?! Which parent can be so cruel. It might had been a spelling error that stuck, BUT STILL?!! So being Ruoying, I shall at least TRY to pronounce the name.... X-O = sho? C-H-I =chee? T-L = tel? SO Xochitl = sho-chee-tel? WHAT THE...


Now, lets try a more SOPHISTICATED version. X-O-C = Shae, H-I-T-L = *mutate* TEL. SO Xochitl = SHAE-TEL? Like a Chanel with a T?


Guess I wouldn't know until I meet her. *apprehensive*
