Dorm for another year. - 6:30 PM
After giving it alot of thought, I've decided that I am probably not moving out after all. As much as I would love to have my own room in an apartment, cooking for a change and riding the bus in the blistering winter to get to class (only con), it is NOT happening. For now, at least. You see, I thought I was moving out with 2 girls. But at the last minute, I told them its better that we don't live together. Its really easy to get caught up in the moment, discussing who's gonna do the cooking and what the wall colors are gonna be when you haven't even decided on 1) the APARTMENT, 2) the RENT. I figured that as much as we're from the country that fed us the same education from Kindergarten right up to the current, our lifestyles have not, and most probably will NOT converge. At all. Oh, to be clearer, they like and want to party in their new home. To invite friends over without worries, drink and make merry. The last thing on their mind is a prissy princess of a housemate who does not welcome their guests with open arms. So I told them that its probably not gonna work. And I think I'm right, cos they seemed happier after I told them.
So I guess I won't be cooking my own curry chicken anytime soon. But I think what I'm gonna do is to move out of my existing dorm. Probably next door to the Graduate dorm where the single room is more affordable, where I'll buy my own portable (illegal) stove and attempt to fry rice, get my own (illegal also) toaster oven and toast POTATO WEDGES.... (shiyun do you hear it calling you???). heh. Its workable, I know it is. Besides, it will be JUST NEXT to the Business College, which is a really strategic location when you are a Business student.
Don't feel sad for me, my friends. Ruoxi was eager to say 'Oh its ok la... you're gonna move out next time ANYWAY!'. Yeah, sheesh. I can still do up my new room... A LITTLE BIT LA! heh.
