Christmas is here Again! - 8:25 AM
Its that time of the year again... snowfall in the N. Hemisphere, christmas lights, last minute shoppers frantically checking everyone off their lists, HORDES of tourists gawking at the massive tree at the Rockefeller Center in NYC (to Ruoxi's disdain. she has to EXCUSE MEEE all her way home when she can't get a cab. Yes, even in NYC, you might not get a cab.Esp now with the strike going on and everything), and of cos, PRESENTS PRESENTS PRESENTS!! Since I'm not religious, I hardly care abt the reason for the existence of Christmas, which is to celebrate the birth of Jesus. So instead, I celebrate Angie's birthday, the holidays and what everyone's dissing - consumerism. When do you know we're approaching the end of another year? For me, I go 'oh gawd YET another year' when magazines and TV programs start compiling their 'Best and Worst of 2005' lists. Mannnnn. 'Top 10 moments of 2005', 'Best dressed of 2005', '2005 Turn off of the Year'...
Hmmm...a pile of unaddressed xmas cards are scattered on my table in true blue Ruoying fashion. A plain card there, an envelope there, some extra doublesided tape and ribbon on the FLOOR... translates to MEGA SIAN-DOM. YIKES I need more time! better alter a little.. from Merry Christmas to Seasons Greetings. Hopefully don't have to change to Gong Xi Fa Cai lor.
So anyway, seeing that there's no way the cards are ever gonna reach on time, I'm just gonna send out greetings here. free somemore dun need to pay postage. Ok, gimme a few seconds to conjour a Hallmark-worthy greeting
