6 MEN FROM TV WE LOVE - 5:00 PM
After careful thought and consideration, I've decided to post something super bimbotic...but before you freak, its NOT about 'ooohhh I bought this top in pink, and its sooooo nice I decided to get in it white, baby blue, lilac and yellow as well!' ... -hur-... neither isit about 'oh GOSH ate so much... I'm SOOOOO going to the gym tomorrow.. gym babes? lets go k?!' ....HUR....*rolls eyes*.Rather, ITS ABOUT THEM!.. after much headache (and heartache), I've selected the 6 male leading characters, (not the actors themselves) of tv/movies... AND OUR HEARTS (my heart btw. since its MY blog). The SIX that have left legions of female (and some cases, male!) fans going ga-ga over them. Their characters are probably not that new, but they will definitely be remembered for a long long time to come! I've chosen 6 diverse characters to have more variety....so you won't end up reading about how I love Tom cruise in 'Jerry Maguire', Tom in 'Mission Impossible' and Tommy in 'Collateral'.
Alright.. so I've sieved through tons of gorgeous (and not so gorgeous) faces to arrive here.... and NOW... RUOYING PROUDLY PRESENTS.. THE SENSATIONAL SIX!!

1) DAOMING SI, Meteor Gdn, played by JERRY YAN. Taiwanese, but supposed to be Japanese from the original manga.
EEK!! DAOMING SI IS HERE! LETS ALL TAKE COVER! dudee.. relax (unless u're from YING1 DE2 xue2 yuan4). DMS is the FIRST one I thought of because he is the Reformed Bad Boy. The one who nearly killed someone outta anger management issues, but is in fact, REALLY a harmless butterfly! The leader of his clique F4, he's armed with more money to throw in your face than the combined GDP of some African nations..this guy has the looks and attitude too! Just when you wanna slap his face cos he's so kiam pah, he lures you with his very oh-so-romantic stunts to his true love, SHANCAI. (shancai gives us ordinary girls HOPE, i tell u). He is the one women of all statuses throw themselves at because of his immense wealth, but chooses the poor, plain girl, because apparently, he has enough WEALTH, INTELLIGENCE AND GOODLOOKS for the both of them. (recall disc 10. his birthday in the car. i watched the whole series 5 times so I should know.. dun pray pray) He is seriously adorable and dismisses the notion of all RICH & CUTE GUYS BEING PLAYERS. (fictional though. sigh). Though obnoxious at times, geez I love hiM! DUMP SHANCAI AND CHOOSE ME, AH SI!
2) MR BIG, SEX N THE CITY, played by CHRIS NOTH. American.
The first time Carrie met Mr Big, she was swept away by the gentleman in him. Suave and successful, Mr Big is NEARLY the Donald Trump of real life...something like 'the Devil wears Prada'. But what I like him about Mr Big is his ALPHA MALE personality. He knows what he wants (though he makes mistakes like every human being does), and usually gets it. Its just the way he speaks. So much authority, so much oomph. Dunno why also, but *sigh*. I know some of you are balking. 'WTH. HE HURT CARRIE SO MUCH AND HE'S ON UR LIST?!'. come on. CARRIE ALSO HURT AIDEN WAD?! yet u all adore her! Love him, or hate him. Call it fatal attraction if you must. But admit it, he IS irresitable, otherwise our heroine wouldn't go back to him countless times right......What can I say... I love men in suits!
3) HITCH, Hitch the Movie, played by WILL SMITH. American.
They call him the Date Doctor, because that's what he does. He offers remedies to broken hearts, dishing advice about how to woo the love of your life. He is the dashingly FUNNY guy. U know? That one who makes you laugh in your dreams. FUNNY... not GOOFY and SILLY... there is a major difference...the latter makes u cringe while the former makes u weak in the knees. Oh, did I mention he's extremely smooth and sexy as well? Now, who can argue with me on THAT.
4) CHE SONG JOO, more affectionately known as SONG-JOO PAH, Stairway to Heaven, played by KWON SANG WOO. Korean.IF YOU HAVEN'T CAUGHT Stairway to Heaven, you've basically been wasting the past 6 months of your life! hahaha OKOK just kiddin (before u all blast me). Before this drama serial, I couldn't WAIT for Korean dramas to end. WAH LAU, so sappy, unrealistic PLUS the storylines are ALL THE same! but WAH, Song-Joo pah makes this drama serial a MUST SEE...he is the HOPELESS ROMANTIC. The modern day White Horse Prince (bai ma wang zi haha. take a clue from the picture man) that rescues his princess. Pulls out all stops to woo his lost love, marries her even though she's blind and dying. Eventually, she DOES die... IN HIS ARMS... EVERYONE, 1-2-3... AWWWW... Yah, I know, unrealistic la. but WAH LAU, I cried so much over this show. (darn. my secret is out) plus, HE IS SO CUTE! He plays the piano too! YES, SONG JOO PAH.. love will eventually come back to us!
5) PRINCE HECTOR, TROY, played by ERIC BANA. Trojan. (but the actor's AUSSIE in real life)
Despite dying midway through the movie, The Noble Champion of his empire - PRINCE HECTOR remains unforgettable, for he really was the HERO who saves the day. When Archilles goes to Troy for revenge cos Hector killed his lousy cousin, calling 'HECCCCC-TORRRR....HECCC-TORRRR...', we went 'OH SHUT UP, BRAD!' When his blasted, good-for-nothing brother Paris falls for the supposedly 'face that can launch 1000 ships', Helen of Sparta, which ignited the war (I choose to believe in legend cos its much more interesting than HISTORY), mighty Prince Hector defends his country with nothing more than heart. For he was the honorable, admirable leader, son, brother, husband and father who placed love for his country and his people before anything else. NOW, that is noble. I wept when he was killed. Did you?
Last but not least, its his turn... Cos I know u all will be like 'HOW COME THE ONES WE LIKE ARE ALL RICH and HANDSOME? We're so superficial MEH?' erh... I saw that coming, so I found him. Poor and unkempt. GIVE U LOR! HAHAHA
6) NOAH, THE NOTEBOOK, played by RYAN GOSLING. AMERICAN (the actor is Canadian)Salutations to the ones who watched this movie without crying. You are OBVIOUSLY cold-blooded! In this tear-jerker, love doesn't just stop at the Romancing, neither does it stop at the DREAM wedding....simply because love NEVER stops while you're alive... as depicted by Noah, the one who believes in the one and only SOULMATE. In order to draw his first love back to him to the North Carolina suburbs, Noah painstakingly restores his dream house. She eventually did return to him, and the story brought us back to the 20th Century. An elderly Noah reads to the senile Allie the sweeping story of 'the Notebook', from his tattered book. He refuses to abandon her even though she's unwell... AND WRINKLY, AND SAGGY...meticulously taking care of her every need. The pair eventually passes on on the hospital bed, in each others' arms. BOOHOOOHOOO. Because, marriage and love is till death do us part.
